After going a week without a menu plan, I realized just how wonderful they are! Not only does creating a menu plan around current sales and what's already in the freezer help save money, but it eliminates the "oh dear, dinner time is in half an hour, what should I make?" drama --which happened several times this week. :) So anyway, back to menu-planning...
Breakfasts~
Eggs, hash browns and toast
Pancakes
Granola
Sausage egg casserole
Pumpkin muffins
Cold cereal
Dinners~
Monday- Broccoli soup and grilled cheese
Tuesday- Chicken fettuccine with steamed veggies and bread
Wednesday-Potato hamburger casserole and salad
Thursday- Ham and split pea soup with fresh bread
Friday- Creamed chicken with whole wheat biscuits
Saturday- Spaghetti with french bread and salad

I just put up a menu plan too! I had the same problem the last few weeks, and last night had NOTHING to fix. I woke up motivated!
Okay, I just updated with links to some of the recipes I will be using - including my Sassy soup!
WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE TO PUT UP THE RECIPE FOR YOU POTATOE AND HAMBUGER CASSAROLE
it sounds wonderful
thanks
Aw you are such a good home maker!!! I wish Jeff could be home for that many meals, but he works a LOT of evenings... oh well! Great menus :)
Hey Teddi, sorry it took me so long to get back with you. Their isn't really a recipe for the potato hamburger casserole...
I just cook potatoes, celery and carrots. Add browned hamburger and onions. Add some mushroom soup, sour cream and spices. Top with cheese and bake. It is really yummy. :)
You're so sweet Janelle! Wish we could see you more. Does your trip include a stop in the South?? ;)
